Monochrome is a classic and stylish colour scheme for any home or apartment. The combination of black and white is one of the best, especially when it comes to interiors. With the addition of a blush accent colour it can change the whole appearance of the look by making it more soft and feminine. My favourite addition is an accent gold colour, as gold is big on trend at the moment and gives a warm and luxurious feel to any home interior. The key is to introduce contrast, richness and warmth with addition of texture, detailing and other colours. By strategically placing a small gold table or a gold frame, this can really make your monochrome look pop. A large green leaf plant will also soften the look, and don’t be afraid to paint that wall black!
