When is the Best Time to Start Shopping for my Dress?
This is a question the Bridal Team answer most often, and there is no one-size-fits-all answer for that question as there are lots of things to consider before a recommendation could be made!
The main thing to consider is when is your Wedding Date? The Team recommend shopping around 10-12 months before your wedding date.
That may seem very far in advance, but there are several reasons to shop early – including the fact that most dresses have a standard delivery of up to 6 months! After the dress arrives, you also need time to have any alterations made and plenty of fittings before the big day!
We do offer a selection of our designer wedding dresses available to purchase ‘Off the Rail’, and we have a Rush Order delivery available on a selection of wedding dresses from selected designers. As we have an extensive wedding dress collection in our Bridal Rooms, it is not always possible to showcase every gown on our website. If you have seen a wedding dress from any of our designers which you love, please contact us as we may have it in-store for you to try on.
It is important to remember also that Bridal Seasons are not the same as High Street Seasons, and new dresses arrive all year round – so if you have any particular designers in mind, keep an eye out for them arriving and don’t wait until the date/season you assume they will arrive!
