We are all about skincare for the month here in McElhinneys, as I’m sure most of us are in detox mode after Christmas. Let’s kick off 2020 with the Skingredients Range by Jennifer Rock.
Jennifer is the founder of the Skin Nerd and has always had a mission in mind – to change the face of skincare, and to bin the makeup wipes.
The Cleanse Off Mitt was the first arrival, and is designed to remove makeup with just water, eliminating the need for single-use wipes and cotton pads. Next, she launched the world’s first online skin consultation and membership service in 2017, known as the Nerd Network.

- Skin Shield: SPF 50 - Your invisible parasol! A lightweight, moisturising, broad-spectrum SPF base, which has been formulated to shield your skin from, not only UVA and UVB rays, but HEV and infrared light.
Outside of the Core Four products, the collection also contains Mix & Match products so you can customise your Skingredients recipe to your specific skin concerns. These include:
- A-HA Cleanse – An exfoliating cleanser and resurfacing micro-mask which contains lactic acid and PHA. You can also use it as a mask for a boost of hydration!
- Sally Cleanse – A salicylic acid cleanser, spot-zapper and micro-mask all in one! This salicylic acid cleanser is suited to oily skinned people, as it gently eliminates excess oil when used before bed.
- Skin Good Fats – This ceramide barrier balm/moisturiser is not your traditional moisturiser, it works by replenishing your skin’s essential fats, vitamins and goodness, bringing equilibrium to your skin.
Skingredients is entirely fragrance-free, with no synthetic scents or essential oils, because smells don’t change cells, and they can be the culprit of irritation and sensitization.
